Production & Editing Of The Film

The project was filmed over 1 day. By planning the day of filming, we were able to get straight into filming on the day. The opening scene was the hardest scene to film. It involved getting a camera shot through a window; and we found it difficult to balance the camera.

We worked well as a team by each having a role to play; Tim and Alex being the actors,I was the camera man and Ryan was the sound man. We were able to use the same shots and some new shots from our preliminary task, to show how we have developed our media skills.
Overall, the day of filming was really successful. We got all the inside and outside scenes done.

Now we are editing our project and finding non-copyrighted music to add to our project. The editing is going good as well, but the editing programmes on the computer are taking about 40 minutes to load up each time. This means in an hour lesson, we are only get 20 minutes editing time. We feel this has contributed greatly to us not following are gannt chart completely; towards the end of the project.

To complete the editing of our film we came into school during half term for two days. With no one else using the computers in the school, the editing programmes loaded up much quickly and we were able to get the whole editing process completed. We were really pleased with the soundtrack we found, which we felt fitted our movie perfectly. We were also pleased how the credits and titles were displayed.
